Helping Cheshire East Council lower costs and increase recycling rates
In Autumn 2016, Cheshire East Council approached the market for a long-term organic waste treatment solution. Wastewise delivered a state of the art GICOM In-Vessel Composting (IVC) and Aerated Static Pile (ASP) facility near Crewe. The facility is now fully operational and has enabled the Council to achieve the targeted cost savings whilst also helping to improve its recycling performance.
