Who we are

Wastewise is a privately owned family business based in Hull, East Yorkshire. Established in 1964 as a local landfill operator, we are fast becoming the region's leading provider of total waste management solutions.

We specialise in the collection, recycling & recovery of waste to help reduce greenhouse gas emissions and recover valuable raw materials. Wastewise currently employs over 25 people and each year manages over 200,000 tonnes of waste through our various waste treatment facilities.

We have a proud history of delivering innovative, environmentally responsible and cost effective waste solutions across a range of sectors. In 2010, we achieved an overall recycling and recovery rate of over 90% and helped save our customers up to 30% on their waste management costs.

Conscious of our environmental and social responsibilities, we promote the use of sustainable waste treatment methods to help achieve zero waste to landfill. We invest heavily in our waste infrastructure to ensure we are at the forefront of new technology developments and stay ahead of the latest legislation.
